    JM International (JMI) is the world’s largest youth-music organisation with members in 70 countries worldwide outreaching 6,000,000 young people through 40,000 musical activities. In line with our goal of empowering young people through music, JMI also focuses on building the competencies of young international cultural managers through internships at the JMI head office and country offices.

    We are looking for a motivated candidate to become part of the Ethno team in the JMI head office for a minimum of 3 months. The internship includes working on a wide variety of international projects and programs, with a specific focus on JMI’s Ethno program (www.ethno-world.org). Bringing experience and motivation for developing your skills in event, project and cultural management is a must. Having already experienced an Ethno Camp is a plus. The position is full time based and based in Brussels, Belgium.

    JMI interns should preferably be supported by programs such as Erasmus+ or through their own educational institute. JMI provides meal vouchers as well as a transport stipend (max €55.50) within Brussels.

    • Strong written and spoken English

    • Good technical skills : Internet / MS Office / Social Media

    • Self management skills and proactive attitude

    • Disciplined, organised and professional work attitude

    • Project management support

    • Program logistics

    • Marketing and communications

    • Digital content development and dissemination

    • Social media management engagement

    • Research and development

    • Partner engagement

    • Supporting the logistics of Ethno and JM International events
