World Youth Choir 2017: Meet the Singers
As we all know, playing music encourages people to widen their horizons, learn about themselves and build self-esteem and empathy. Hence, intercultural exchange is a very important matter - especially for Youth Orchestras.
With jeunesses:ensemble, Jeunesses Musicales Germany established a new funding programme, supporting the worldwide exchange of Youth Orchestras, including an annual budget of about €200,000. The funding is given by the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth in Germany. Applications can be submitted by all German youth orchestras, ensembles, brass bands etc., in order to achieve substantial support of their expenses and to relieve both – the German orchestra and its partner ensemble from abroad, especially on visits to Germany.
To encourage and facilitate the international exchange by connecting suited partners, we are currently collecting information from Youth Orchestras all over the world.
We therefore would be very grateful if you could spare a few minutes and answer some questions in a form, to be found here. Your data will be used for the above mentioned purpose only and will not be shared or disclosed to other organisations, institutions and authorities.
Feel free to share this information with your colleagues and friends.
