Gathering Ethno organizers from around the globe for four days of training and brainstorming!
JMI invites you to attend the 5th Ethno Organisers Annual Training in Nafplion, Greece.
The dates are:
Nov 28: Arrivals
Nov 29 - Dec 2: OAT
Dec 3: Departures OAT
(Dec 2-4: EC Meetings)
(Dec 5: Departures ALL)
NEED A VISA INVITATION LETTER OR COMING FROM OUTSIDE EUROPE? Apply latest by Monday July 17, 2023.
Don't need a visa? Apply by Monday July 31, 2023.
ELIGIBILITY FOR FINANCIAL SUPPORT:
1. The following countries/Ethnos are eligible for financial support to attend the OAT (ONE representative organizer per Ethno) :
Belgium (2 x Ethnos), Bosnia & Herzegovina, Brazil (2 x Ethnos), Bulgaria, Cameroon, Chile, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Hungary, India, Jordan, Lebanon, North Macedonia, Malawi, Mozambique, New Zealand, Norway, State of Palestine, Poland, Portugal, Sicily, Solomon Islands, Spain (2 x Ethnos), Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, Uganda, USA and Zimbabwe.
2. For existing Ethnos — There must have been at least one Ethno music camp organized in the past two years and/or there must be concrete plans to organize an Ethno next year, ie. 2024 (dates, locations, partnerships, fundraising, etc.).
3. For new/upcoming Ethnos — Must have concrete plans to organize an Ethno in 2024 (dates, locations, partnerships, fundraising, etc.).
Not eligible for financial support? You can still pay costs and attend.
— You or your organization cover your travels.
— Accommodation and food costs are EUR 100 per day
NOTES FOR SELF-PAY ATTENDEES
– If taking a scheduled pick-up or drop to Athens airport, JMI will cover the costs. Else the attendee must take transport to the Athens city centre and from there to Nafplion (own cost).
– JMI will cover the cost of the conference facility hire
Looking to send a second person (at your own cost)?
Places for a second person are not guaranteed, as accommodation is limited. Apply early! You will be informed about your place once applications close.
