It's time to Imagine!
Imagine began in France in 1982 under the name Music Ado, spreading to Sweden as Musik Direct, to Belgium as Music Live and southern Africa under the name Music Crossroads. In 2010 the Imagine program countries began a process of unification that now sees all countries under one unified title, the Imagine Music Experience.
Over the years, several thousands of musicians have participated in Imagine, which is much more of a competition. Imagine celebrates young musicians in an inclusive environment allowing them to gain experience performing under professional conditions and expressing themselves in the ways they choose. At Imagine, musicians get to connect with their peers from their home country and abroad! Imagine facilitates the mobility of over 50 musicians annually introducing them to a wealth of new people and cultures. Performing in different music styles and from a variety of cultural backgrounds Imagine builds confidence and self-respect as well as respect for others and for diversity. Imagine aims to create equal opportunities for musicians of all genders.
The 2023 International Finals of the Imagine Music Experience will take place in Brussels, Belgium, from December 13th (arrival) to 17th (departures) and will be hosted in the Botanique (www.botanique.be) by JM International.
