Created and coordinated by Jeunesses Musicales International, Imagine Festival is a project realized for 20 years, which it is now held in ten countries across Europe, Africa and Latin America.
Imagine is an all-style competition for young artists between 13 and 21 and it takes place annually in various continents. The national winners compete every following year at the Imagine International final, organized by Jeunesses Musicales International, where rock and pop bands compete with artists playing jazz, funk, classical, traditional, hip-hop, rumba, metal, flamenco, reggae, fusion and so on.
Imagine Spain will be a unique platform for young musicians, since it will manage to gather on the same stage all the possible music genres. This characteristic makes easier the exchange and the cohesion among young people of the same country, who will eventually share their music with international artists at Imagine International.
The national final offers a unique opportunity of interaction among musicians from different Spanish autonomous communities and the young participants will be promoted at a national and international level.
The winner will then live the great experience to participate at Imagine International Final in December 2016 in Zagreb, Croatia, with other musicians coming from different countries of the network of Jeunesses Musicales, which may represent a significant chance in their professional career. The price will be an international tour of concert and the recording of a demo in a professional studio, with technical assistance.
The preselection will be online and it will be open until December 31st, 2015. The concert featuring the ten selected bands will be held on March 19th, 2016, at the Espai Jove La Fontana, Barcelona.
