Join the 2023 JMI Comms Training!
JM International is a global youth music network composed of member organizations from 70+ countries, working together to make a difference through music in the lives of young people and children. Our strength lies in our ability to communicate what we do in a clear, concise, consistent and engaging manner; and it is towards this goal that JM International is organizing a Communications Training and Committee Meeting in Struga, North Macedonia, from the 8th to the 12th of July 2023.
THE COMMUNICATIONS TRAINING
JMI will be organizing a two-day training that will build on previous years with a very special, specific focus on AI and Video editing. The AI revolution is upon us and presents a fantastic opportunity for nonprofits to change how they work. A recent study from MIT entitled “Experimental Evidence on the Productivity Effects of Generative Artificial Intelligence” has shown that AI can increase productivity by up to 37% faster and 20% better and significantly happier...
Participants will learn:
- An overview of the most important AI tools.
- A Crash Course in AI Image Generation Prompting
- Using AI to Generate a content marketing strategy
- AI video editing
- How to build Presentations with AI
- AI Website building trends
- Video editing with Capcut
- How to use Youtube (properly)
- How to shape your stories to fit platforms and people
The training will be run by MoonJelly Agency (https://moonjelly.agency) together with the JMI Head Office team. It will be a unique occasion to share knowledge and best practices with colleagues from all around the world. And to receive professional training on the latest developments in content creation and marketing.
The event is open to all Communications Staff from JMI’s member organizations although JMI Communications Committee members will be given preference. There are limited places available (20) so please ensure to register as soon as possible to secure your place.
THE JMI COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE (JULY 11)
The JMI Communications Committee aims to strengthen the capacity of the communication professionals within our member organizations, coordinate joint communication activities, and act as an expert reference group for JMI’s long-term strategic communication goals.
PRACTICAL MATTERS
Dates: 8-12 July
Where: Struga, North Macedonia
8 July: Arrivals (Skopje)
9-10 July: Training
11 July: Training + Committee Meeting
12 July: Departures (Skopje)
NB: Struga is a 2-hour bus ride from Skopje (+1hr from the airport).
More details will follow once arrival and departure times are confirmed.
ACCOMMODATION
Participants will stay at Hotel Drim (in double rooms).
TRAVELS
Participants are responsible for booking their travels to North Macedonia. JMI will reimburse travel costs up to 200€ within Europe and 400€ outside Europe upon reception of all travel documentation (invoices, tickets, boarding passes, etc.).
