The EEBC looks to discover the most amazing up-and-coming young European bands to shine on an international stage in Strasbourg, France. Six selected bands get the choice to perform in front of thousands of young engaged Europeans from across the continent as well as to win a cash prize of €800 and an all-expenses paid trip to Strasbourg.
The competition is open to bands with a maximum of 6 members (all under 30 years old) from European Union member countries, EU candidate countries and former member countries (Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom), and EFTA (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland).
The selected bands should appeal to a wide range of people and their songs should contribute to raising awareness of issues facing your generation, whether climate change or gender equality, social inclusion or mental health, from democratic participation to peace... we wanna hear bands with something to say!
