26th Orchestra Workshop for Children and Teenagers

Jeunesses Musicales Switzerland presents the 26th edition of the Orchestra Workshop for Children and Teenagers, that will take place this summer from July 19th to July 30th in the Centre "Les Dents Vertes" in Charmey (CH).

The workshop, held for the first time in 1990, offers to young musicians (8-15) the possibility to attend a symphonic training program that will be conducted by professionals musicians under the artistic direction of Frédéric Théodoloz. The young musicians will be able to enjoy not only the workshop, but also a part dedicated to games and other recreational activities.

After the rehearsal period, the students will have the unique possibility to perform in a series of concerts in the Freiburg region. Here is the list of venues where the Orchestra will showcase its work:

28.07.2016    19.00    Reformed temple in Freiburg
29.07.2016    19.00    Paderewski Hall in Lausanne. Concert in the context of "Lausanne Estivale"
30.07.2016    14.00    Centre "Sports et Loisirs" in Charmey
