EFNYO General Assembly 2016

The International Federation of National Youth Orchestras is happy to announce the program of the upcoming EFNYO General Assembly, that will be held in Paris between April 21st - 24th, 2016.

The General Assembly 2016 is hosted by the Orchestre Français des Jeunes, and organised in cooperation with its general manager, Pierre Barrois, and his assistant Ivanne Desagnat. The meetings will be held at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, and at the Nouvelle Philharmonie (Cité de la Musique).

The program includes a series of presentations and round table discussions, with the participation of guest speakers from France and abroad, on several subjects: internal business, audience researches led among French orchestras, programming for new venues, educational programs and the development of the EFNYO's MusXchange program. It will offer also the option to attend a concert with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France under the baton of Mikko Franck and a guided tour through the complex of the Nouvelle Philharmonie and Cité de la Musique

THURSDAY, 21st APRIL

14.30 - 17.30: EFNYO board meeting
19.00: Welcome dinner
20.30: Concert at the Philharmonie de Paris

FRIDAY, 22nd APRIL

10.00 - 13.00: EFNYO session I / EFNYO full-associate-cooperating members 
15.00 - 18.00: EFNYO session II / MusXchange meeting - all members interested
20.00: Dinner for EFNYO members and guests

SATURDAY, 23rd APRIL

10.00 - 13.00: EFNYO session III / EFNYO members and guests - presentations & discussion
15.00 - 18.00: EFNYO session IV / MusXchange meeting - all members interested
20.00: Dinner for EFNYO members and guests

SUNDAY, 24th APRIL

10.30: "Wrap up" session / Board members and MusXchange partners
