MUSIC FOR THE FOREST: LISTEN TO THE 28 EARTH-INSPIRED SELECTED SONGS

Music for the Forest is a new initiative launched in May 2022 by JM International and Rainforest Partnership. Musicians were invited to submit original and earth-inspired songs from different genres - soul or singer-songwriter, highlife or hip-hop, folk, jazz, rock or tango, classical music and every other type of music.
Music for the Forest is an online music celebration bringing together artists from all over the world who use the power of music to inspire, awaken and spread joy, with rhythms of hope to generate a space of understanding and connection with our planet's forests!
Submitted works were featured on the World Rainforest Day (WRD) Playlist/Event, screened during the WRD conference on June 22nd, and throughout WRD celebration events globally.

One lucky artist among these will also receive the JMI Green Note, an award of €1000 for young artists (under 30) making an impact and contributing to support a social and environmental movement of creating music for the conservation and restoration of our nature. JMI will announce the Green Note winner at the beginning of September… stay tuned!
