Meet the World Youth Choir 2016

The World Youth Choir (WYC) is made by a group of 40 young choral singers coming from 29 different countries who enjoy a genuine educational and social experience drawing from diverse vocal traditions, aiming at the highest artistic level. 

Since its creation in 1989, the World Youth Choir has established itself as one of the most interesting musical and intercultural experiences offered to young musicians. Each summer, the World Youth Choir comes together in a different country of the world for a week or two of rehearsals. Following these rehearsals, the choir tours within the host country and neighbour countries, presenting concerts in major cultural centres and prestigious concert halls. 

In 2016, hundreds of people from all over the world sent their application, wishing to be part of this experience. Finally, 40 young singers were selected and all of them have been rehearsing since 13th July for kicking off their tour around Germany and Belgium. We want to present you the choral singers who are part of the WYC this year!
