JM International is a global youth-music network composed of member organisations from 70+ countries, working together to make a difference through music in young people's and children's lives. Our strength lies in our ability to communicate what we do to the public in a clear, concise, consistent, and engaging way. And it is towards this goal that JM International organised its 2nd Communications Training in Balatonboglár, Hungary, from the 23rd to the 26th of June 2022.

The event was open to all Communications Staff (or those responsible for Communications) from JMI member organisations and partners. It was a unique occasion to share knowledge and best practices with colleagues from all around the world. And to receive professional training by MoonJelly Agency on the latest content creation and marketing developments.

Specifically, the training focused on and explored the following topics:

  • “The Fundamentals of Branding”;
  • “How to define and communicate your Objectives and Aspirations”;
  • “Creating a Brand Persona”;
  • “Mubazar Training and future developments”;
  • “Managing your Community”;
  • “From Story to Representation”;
  • “Fundraising as Communication, Communication as Fundraising”;
  • “The future of Web3.0 and the possibilities for JM”;
  • “How to create effective Social Ads”.

The Training also contributed to further boosting the JMI Communications Committee, aiming to build the capacities of the communication professionals within the Network, coordinate joint communication activities, and act as an expert reference group for JMI’s long-term strategic communication goals.
