Condolences to the family of the Sevda Cenap and Music Foundation President

JMI is deeply saddened with the news that the Sevda-Cenap and Music Foundation President, Mr. Mehmet Başman has passed away on August 22nd 2016.
Mr. Başman was known to the community not only as a culture pioneer in Turkey, leader and supporter of International Ankara Music Festival but also a father, mentor and an intellectual who reflected his experiences to many.
JMI would like to express the deepest condolences for his family and friends. He will be remembered especially by those whom he influenced through his incredible commitment and passion to music.
